Project Story

This project was designed as an innovative custom builder’s spec home.  The property’s proximity to the Bow River inspired our thinking as we sought to take advantage of the lovely inner-city vista.  One of the primary objectives for this home was to maximize both the living spaces and the master suite, bringing in as much natural light as we could and incorporating the river views.

Challenges

Designing for the inner city brings creative challenges as we seek to design the home our client wants while keeping the neighbours’ wishes in mind.  We worked hard to create a 2 storey home that didn’t look too overpowering and that was scaled appropriately with the neighbour’s homes.
